Franz Ferdinand likes to jump around and paint red circles on thier photos.

Franz Ferdinand is a typical rock band that just wants to make jams that make girls dance, but they're good jams, so we'll take it. They like breaking the law, a good sense of humor, and tea (like any good Brit). There doesn't seem to be a good explanation for the band name, other than, perhaps they like to threaten world war if they get killed (see your WWI history).

The music is upbeat and Eighties sounding, but very good Eighties. Let's admit: there is a "good Eighties." They are it.

Air is back with a new smooth phychadelic alternative rock, and it is probably their best, and most diverse production. The nice tune "Cherry Blossom Girl," proves that there's nothing sweeter than a French girl speaking / singing English. Surfing on a Rocket is solid also.
