Sweet Vocals And Solid Production
Feb. 22 2005

Whatever impact her former roommate Peaches (of Teaches of Peaches fame) had on Miss Feist is nonexistent in this gorgeous album that mixes sweet vocals with solid musical production. It is, doubtless, a vocal display, yet there are many depths to this music. The music is expertly written and the lyrics are fresh today, though not always unique.

Feist sounds like one of the chill lounge techno acts out there like Theivery Corporation but will force a deeper listen because it is an emotion, not just a mood.
